CUBAN SALSA SUMMER CAMP
Week 30: Sunday 21. - Saturday 27. July 2024

If you like Salsa and Cuban rhythms, this is where it happens! Come and get a lot of inspiration and Salsa at Bosei Idrætshøjskole on your summer holiday by Præstø, South Zealand, in Denmark. We have held the Salsa Summer Camp since 2004, and have classes for all levels. Everyone can participate, singles and couples.

Join us for an experience for life, meet new people, and learn a lot of dance. When you have first tried our camp, we guarantee that you will get hooked :-)

There will be 6 different levels: Improvers, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, Advanced 1, Advanced 2 & Very Advanced
If you are in doubt about your dance level, see our guide under levels and dance styles.
There are 5 hours of daily classes with breaks, spread two times a day. The classes are in 6 different rooms. Read more directly at Boseis home page here

The classes
The teaching is very intensive. Besides Salsa, you will dance a lot of other styles at the course: Reggaeton, Bachata, Son, Afro-Cuban dance and Rumba. These dances will be taught in the afternoon, and in the morning there will be taught Salsa only.
You do not have to have a dance partner to attend, but it's always good if you try to find a friend who will participate as we always strive to make the number of men and women evenly distributed. If you already dance, just ask one on your dance team or network, if the Salsa Summer Camp is something for them. You always change your partner on each team so everyone is constantly dancing with a lot of different people (including those who come in pairs) if they like to.

To you who have never tried to dance Salsa before, we can ensure you that everyone who has been at the camp the previous years have been able to dance at the end of the course :)

To all of you who already dance, we always have a lot of new things to offer. The teaching is very inspiring, fun and educational.
